Project EHS Manager

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project EHS Manager to join our team, to be based at a Project Site in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the EHS strategy and operations for a large-scale project, ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direction, leadership, organization, control and support for the occupational health, hygiene, safety, quality, and environmentally functional area for the renewable project.
• Initiate the design, development and management of implementation and maintenance of organizational safety, health, quality, and environment management systems.
• Initiate and maintain an effective environmental management program for Project.
• Initiate, collaborate and manage construction health, hygiene, and safety management for the Project.
• Initiate and manage optimization of business efficiency and continuity.
• Manage occupational health and safety, hygiene, environmental and quality resources.

Reports and Meetings:

• Ensure that project has the required approval for project EHS plan in place.
• Accompany Head of EHS to attend review meetings organized by Employer/CE related to health & safety issues and keep stakeholders informed.
• Attending weekly review meeting organized by Head of EHS along with other Project management team members and necessary site team members.

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering /Safety Management/Environmental Management/ Environmental Health. And NEBOSH (IGC).
• 10 + years of overall related experience in a management position for construction occupational health, hygiene and safety management in the capacity of (EHS Manager).
• Should have 5 year’s prior experience in working with large scale EPC renewable/ Complex projects.
