Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in full-stack development, is proficient in modern development methodologies, and is passionate about creating robust and efficient products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code.
• System Architecture: Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of highly available and scalable distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.
• Maintenance and Optimization: Perform code reviews, debug production issues, and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and security.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure product quality and stability.
• Collaboration: Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in software development.
• DevOps: Work with deployment pipelines (CI/CD), monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus) to ensure smooth operation of services in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Language Proficiency: Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Go, Java, Python).
• Database Knowledge: Strong command of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Core Skills: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
