We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our growing client in Luxembourg!
The ideal candidate will have a technical background in software engineering (with a very good knowledge of Java and XML) and relevant experience in both project management and business analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Definition of technical specifications ;
- Preparation of technical and business documentation and communication material for the project ;
- Management of the technical assets and resources utilised by the project ;
- Development and maintenance of the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) exchange data model ;
- Coordination and review of tasks & activities of the development team ;
- Assistance with technical decision making and product design ;
- Participation as a co-organiser together with the project leader in all project meetings with stakeholders ;
- Interaction with the Open User Community (business experts, users, project leaders) and the development team.
Background & experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration ;
- 10+ years of experience in project management ;
- Very good knowledge of XML data modelling, schema design and UML ;
- Good knowledge of back end development (Java, XSLT and Schematron) ;
- Experience in business analysis and product design ;
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum) and Git source control ;
- Good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences ;
- Excellent presentation skills for delivering business and technical presentations in international audiences ;
- Ability to write clear and structured technical documents ;
- Fluency in English.
