We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our growing client in Luxembourg!

The ideal candidate will have a technical background in software engineering (with a very good knowledge of Java and XML) and relevant experience in both project management and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Definition of technical specifications ;
• Preparation of technical and business documentation and communication material for the project ;
• Management of the technical assets and resources utilised by the project ;
• Development and maintenance of the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) exchange data model ;
• Coordination and review of tasks & activities of the development team ;
• Assistance with technical decision making and product design ;
• Participation as a co-organiser together with the project leader in all project meetings with stakeholders ;
• Interaction with the Open User Community (business experts, users, project leaders) and the development team.

Background & experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration ;
• 10+ years of experience in project management ;
• Very good knowledge of XML data modelling, schema design and UML ;
• Good knowledge of back end development (Java, XSLT and Schematron) ;
• Experience in business analysis and product design ;
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum) and Git source control ;
• Good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences ;
• Excellent presentation skills for delivering business and technical presentations in international audiences ;
• Ability to write clear and structured technical documents ;
• Fluency in English.
