You design how systems connect, how data travels, how logic aligns and how cut-overs happen safely and without drama. Your work becomes the backbone of every smooth integration.

Multiple acquisitions per year means new architectures, new datasets, new edge cases — all in regulated sectors where accuracy and stability matter.

What you’ll do

• Design how two independent systems start communicating through APIs, events and integration services

• Build incremental, observable data pipelines using AWS.

• Create backend connectors (Python, FastAPI, TypeScript) that align business logic

• Orchestrate full migration lifecycles: dry-runs, validation, reconciliation, rollbacks

• Build templates, CLIs and reusable patterns that accelerate future integrations

• Identify risks early, communicate clearly and keep the integration moving forward

What you bring

• 6+ years of software engineering

• Strong SQL + DDL skills across varied data models

• Python/Typescript knowledge

• Experience with Airflow (or similar) for orchestrating data and system flows

• Solid AWS experience: S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda

• Ability to design workflows that are reliable, observable and reversible

• Clear communicator who brings structure to complex transitions

• You live in the Netherlands and hold an EU work permit

What you’ll get

€5500–€7500 gross per month

Permanent contract

Hybrid setup (Mon & Wed in Utrecht)
