Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimise cloud solutions across their technology landscape. The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership, drive cloud adoption, and ensure secure, scalable, cost-effective AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, highly available AWS architectures.
• Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including migrations and modernisation (serverless, containers, IaC).
• Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and documentation.
• Implement governance, security controls, cost optimisation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to align cloud solutions with strategic objectives.
• Troubleshoot and support complex cloud environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud architecture or senior AWS engineering roles.
• Strong technical expertise across core AWS services (EC2, Lambda, VPC, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS).
• Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and distributed system design.
• Experience with DevOps tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Kubernetes/EKS experience.
• Experience managing cloud cost optimisation (FinOps).
• Exposure to enterprise-scale migration frameworks.
