We’re hiring a Back-End or Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team. In the beginning, the main focus of your work will be back-end development in the team developing an omni-channel communication product.

What you can expect asa Back-End or Full-Stack Developer  at LeadDesk   

  • You'll be developing new features smoothly using ReactJS, Redux, Saga, node.js, Python.
  • You'll be maintaining and improving our existing product 
  • You'll be writing clean, high-quality code 
  • You'll be ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience (UX) 
  • You'll be contributing to happy, satisfied clients 

What Success Looks Like:

First 2-3 months: 

  • Gain overview of LeadDesk’s products, users, tech stack, and development workflows. 
  • Familiarize yourself with the existing architecture 
  • Build strong relationships with your team 
  • Contribute to improving the codebase by addressing bugs, refining existing code, and adopting best practices. 
  • Begin establishing efficient collaboration workflows between development, design, and product teams. 
  • Deliver your first product features, improving a critical user workflow or interface. 

First 6 months

  • Take ownership of a key area of your team’s domain and drive consistency and performance improvements. 
  • Collaborate with designers to implement accessible and responsive UI and extending scope of work to backend
  • Actively contribute to sprint planning and code reviews to ensure high-quality and scalable code.  

This is where the match happens   

Must-haves   

  • Back-End development with .NET Core or similar environment - At least 3 years of real-world work experience
  • SQL Databases - At least 3 years of real-world work experience 
  • API development and test automation

Required General Skills 

  • Agile development
  • Software testing 
  • Version control
  • Fluency in English at professional level 

Nice-to-haves   

  • Public cloud AI service integration experience
  • React.js, Redux, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS
  • PHP or Node.JS

Practicalities  

  • Your location: Lappeenranta 
  • Work permit in Finland is required, please mention this in your application! 
  • Start date: As soon as possible   
  • Work model: Hybrid (2 or 3 days per week in office minimum) 
  • Working hours: flexible   
  • Employment: Full-time and permanent
