Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in fintech or payments industry.
- Strong proficiency in NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience working with PostgreSQL and cloud-based database solutions such as Google Cloud SQL.
- Hands-on experience with ledger systems, financial APIs, and high-volume payment processing pipelines.
- Knowledge of event-driven microservices architecture using Pub/Sub or similar messaging systems.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
- Understanding of security standards and compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and SOC 2.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ownership mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that support financial transactions and data processing.
- Build and optimize ledger systems and financial data models to ensure accuracy and integrity of transaction data.
- Implement high-volume payment processing pipelines and integrate with various financial APIs to enable seamless transactions.
- Develop event-driven microservices utilizing Pub/Sub to facilitate real-time data processing and system responsiveness.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform, ensuring consistent and reliable environments.
- Ensure all systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry standards such as PCI DSS and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve system performance and security.
