At ReduCate, we are consolidating multiple SaaS products into one scalable platform used across Europe.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong Laravel experience who enjoys working in a growing product environment where architecture, scalability and code quality actually matter.

This is not a ticket-driven role. You work on a large Laravel codebase that evolves continuously as new brands and products are onboarded.

What you’ll do

• Build and improve backend features in a Laravel-based SaaS platform
• Work on a growing monolith that supports multiple tenants and products
• Improve performance, reliability and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA and other engineers
• Contribute to predictable releases and platform stability
• Support ongoing onboarding of new brands and applications

Tech & environment

• Laravel / PHP 8
• MySQL, Redis, queues and events
• PHPUnit, Pest, Playwright
• SaaS, multi-tenant context
• Increasing use of AI tools in development and testing workflows

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience as a backend or Laravel engineer
• Comfortable working in a larger, evolving codebase
• Understanding of clean code, maintainable architecture and APIs
• Experience with SaaS or platform environments is a plus
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Based in the Netherlands and open to hybrid work
