We believe robotics will be as transformative as the steam engine or electricity. For that to happen, robots need to learn from humans at scale. MicroAGI captures high-quality egocentric video of people performing real-world tasks, from grocery shopping to nuclear power plant operations, and provides structured datasets to robotics companies and AI labs.

We're hiring our first mobile engineer to build our collection platform from scratch.

You'll create the applications that put data capture in the hands of thousands of operators worldwide, handling everything from efficient video recording to payment infrastructure. The app you build will power an entirely new category of gig work. This is the core of how we scale, and you'll own it end-to-end.

Camera-intensive work that needs to run efficiently on mid-range devices:

• Optimized video capture for extended recording sessions
• Integration with device sensors and camera APIs
• Background processing and efficient uploads
• Clean onboarding and task flows

Greenfield, no legacy code. You'll make the foundational decisions.

• Strong experience with Kotlin and Android, ideally native camera/sensor work
• Comfortable with performance-sensitive applications
• Genuine interest in robotics and embodied AI
• Ownership mentality, you'll drive this, not wait for specs
• Experience shipping backend systems, API design, data storage, cloud deployment

• iOS/Swift or cross-platform framework experience
• Experience with ARCore, ARKit, or GenLock
• Background in robotics, computer vision, or VLAs
• Experience with gig economy or marketplace apps
