About NextMatch AI

NextMatch AI (www.nextmatch.ai) is an AI powered hiring platform that connects verified candidates directly to employers’ internal systems instead of relying only on job boards. We are expanding our engineering team in the UAE and are looking for a Web Developer to help build and improve our core platform used by job seekers and employers globally.

This is an internal position with Next Match AI, not for a client.

About the Role

As a Web Developer at Next Match AI, you will work on our candidate flows, employer dashboards, analytics and internal tools. You will collaborate with product, design and data teams to build secure, scalable and user friendly features for a global hiring platform.

You should be comfortable working across the front end and, ideally, some parts of the back end, with a strong focus on clean code and good user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications for candidates and employers
• Build reusable components and front end features using modern frameworks
• Integrate and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and user journeys
• Debug and resolve issues, improve performance and ensure cross browser compatibility
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain coding standards and best practices
• Contribute ideas to improve UX, reliability and scalability of the platform

Requirements

• Must be currently residing in the UAE to be considered for this role
• 2–5+ years of professional experience in web development (front end or full stack)
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with at least one modern framework such as React, Vue or Angular
• Experience with at least one back end environment (Node.js, Python, PHP, .NET or similar) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with APIs, Git and basic database concepts
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility and cross browser compatibility
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work with a remote, distributed team
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, product-focused startup environment

Nice to Have

• TypeScript experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Background in SaaS, marketplaces or HR tech
• Portfolio or GitHub with examples of production quality work
