Secure by Design (SbD) – Role Overview
40% – Design Phase
- Define business- and risk-aligned security requirements.
- Assess solution designs and identify security gaps early.
- Produce Security Domain Impact Assessments and control recommendations.
- Lead SbD design activities and obtain architect sign-off.
60% – Implementation Phase
- Implement and integrate security controls aligned to enterprise architecture.
- Translate requirements into configurations and delivery actions.
- Identify and remediate implementation gaps.
- Support assurance activities and SbD sign-off.
Authority
- Decide on security control selection and implementation approaches.
- Make detailed design decisions aligned with standards.
