We’re looking for an Intern to join our EY Parthenon team in Istanbul.

About The Team

  • M&A Due Diligence

As a Transaction Diligence professional, you’ll play a pivotal role in Financial Due Diligence assignments within the context of buy- and sell-side M&A transactions. You will serve both corporate and private equity clients throughout the entire transaction process in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for continuous challenges and development, given the diverse range of clients and multidisciplinary projects you will engage with.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze and present financial information, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Assess operational key performance drivers and key valuation considerations such as underlying EBITDA, working capital requirements, and net financial debt to bridge Enterprise and Equity Value.
  • Utilize technology and data analytics tools such as Alteryx and PowerBI to enhance service delivery and share knowledge with team members.
  • Valuation, Modeling and Economics

As a Valuation, Modeling & Economics professional, you’ll assist clients in valuing their companies, businesses, or assets and in solving complex problems that organizations face every day. While valuation is a key element of the service, your work may also include merger and acquisition–related valuations, tax-purpose valuations, and valuations for CMB reporting and financial reporting purposes, including fair value accounting and purchase price allocation services.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct industry and company research
  • Perform financial statement analysis
  • Research peer companies to calculate the weighted average cost of capital
  • Help to build valuation models
  • Capital Debt Advisory

The Capital and Debt Advisory Team specializes in providing comprehensive advisory services in Project Financing, Financial Restructuring & Refinancing, ESG Financing, ECA Financing, and Financial Feasibility studies. In this role, you will work closely with corporate clients from various sectors and financial institutions, providing expert advice and assistance in capital structure optimization, debt financing, and overall debt management.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct financial feasibility studies to assess the viability of various projects.
  • Utilize your expertise in financial modeling to support initiatives and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Contribute to proposal and Information Memorandum (IM) preparations.
  • Manage client relations, building and maintaining strong partnerships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Strategy & Execution

As a Strategy & Execution professional, you will support organizations in shaping their strategic direction and turning bold ambitions into practical, measurable outcomes. You will collaborate with clients across diverse sectors to assess market dynamics, identify growth opportunities, and design future-ready operating models. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact transformation projects, gain exposure to senior stakeholders, and contribute to meaningful change in a dynamic and supportive environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct market, competitor, and industry analyses to support the development of strategic insights.
  • Assess business models and key performance drivers to help clients navigate opportunities and challenges.
  • Contribute to the design of growth strategies, transformation roadmaps, and operating model enhancements.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to translate strategic recommendations into actionable plans.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4th year student in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced command of written and spoken English.
  • Personal Attributes: Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical, and able to work under pressure.
  • Passion for the Field: Demonstrated passion in related work with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions. This passion could be demonstrated via university projects, internships, conferences, self-study, etc
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with good communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Problem solver and willing to work hard in a dynamic environment doing a variety of tasks.
  • Teamwork: Team player with the ability to work with deadlines.
  • Work Model: Hybrid working model (at least 3 days at the office based in Istanbul).
