Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Data & Business Insights Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the business. This role is ideal for graduates or early-career professionals who have a strong interest in data, analytics, and business insights and are eager to learn in a real-world environment.

You will work closely with senior analysts and business stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Support

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing business data
• Support analysis of trends, performance metrics, and KPIs
• Help transform raw data into clear insights and summaries

Reporting & Dashboards

• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports
• Support reporting using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Help prepare data presentations for internal stakeholders

Business Collaboration

• Work with teams to understand basic business requirements
• Support documentation of data definitions, metrics, and processes
• Assist in responding to ad-hoc data and reporting requests

Learning & Development

• Learn data analysis best practices and BI tools
• Participate in training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Continuously develop technical and analytical skills

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)

• Basic understanding of:
• Data analysis and reporting concepts
• Business metrics and KPIs
• Familiarity with:
• Excel (basic to intermediate level)
• Basic SQL (advantage but not mandatory)
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a data-focused role

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

• Exposure to:
• Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• Python or R (basic level)
• Academic projects, internships, or coursework in:
• Data Analytics
• Business Analytics
• IT or Computer Science

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in:
• Data Analytics
• Business Analytics
• IT / Computer Science
• Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
