Embedded Software Engineer

Dublin (2/3 days onsite per week)
€50,000 - €60,000 + bonus, pension & stock options
IT Search has partnered with a MedTech company based in Dublin that’s in an exciting phase of growth following a successful funding round. As they expand their operations, they’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. This company focuses on developing innovative non-invasive medical devices that are transforming patient care. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software solutions for medical devices.
- Work with bare-metal systems, FreeRTOS, and ARM microcontrollers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Strong experience in C programming and bare-metal development.
- Proficient with FreeRTOS.
- Hands-on experience with ARM microcontrollers.
Desirable:
- Exposure to SoC and FPGA.
- Experience with C++
- Background in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, automotive, or aviation).
Salary up to €60,000, along with pension, bonus, and stock options. The office is based in Dublin City Centre, and you’ll be expected onsite 2 or 3 days per week.
