Siraj Solar Ventures International is expanding its renewable energy team and is seeking a Senior Solar Engineer with strong technical expertise and full-cycle project capability to support and lead solar PV projects across Oman.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, engineering, and execution of solar PV projects (on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid)
Manage projects end-to-end: feasibility, system design, approvals, installation, testing, and commissioning
Prepare technical drawings, layouts, BOQs, and engineering documentation
Ensure full compliance with HSE / HSC standards and site safety procedures
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and relevant authorities
Oversee quality control, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting
Required Expertise
7+ years of professional experience in solar PV engineering
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Hands-on experience with solar design and simulation tools such as HelioScope and PVsyst
Solid understanding of inverters, PV modules, batteries, and balance-of-system components
Proven ability to deliver projects of varied sizes and complexity, from small commercial systems to large-scale installations
Practical, detail-oriented, and execution-driven mindset
Strong familiarity with local market practices, approval workflows, and project environments
