Insight Global is seeking a skilled AEM Front-End Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing and re-architecting the digital presence of a major banking client. This role involves a significant amount of hands-on front-end development, focusing on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platforms. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including visual designers, backend developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web solutions. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives, utilizing the latest AEM technologies and front-end development best practices.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a comprehensive background in front-end development, specifically with experience in AEM projects. Key qualifications include:
- 3-6 years of experience working as a front-end developer, with at least 3 years dedicated to AEM projects utilizing the latest Adobe archetypes, ui.frontend module, and webpack.
- Proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, SCSS, BEM methodology, Webpack, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with AEM 6.5, AMS, AEMAACS SDKs, and core components.
- Knowledge of the AEM style system, client libraries, templates, and component policies within the AEM interface.
- Experience collaborating with visual designers to interpret requirements, create user stories, and resolve design conflicts.
- Understanding of front-end performance optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks for front-end code.
- Experience customizing AEM coral UI framework, touch UI, dialogs, and plugins.
- Proficiency in coding components using HTL, Sling models, OSGi, and authoring dialogs.
- Knowledge of Apache rewrites, dispatcher configurations, and troubleshooting using server logs and Unix shell commands.
- Experience working within Scrum teams and utilizing project management tools such as JIRA.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing front-end components for AEM-based websites, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.
- Collaborating with visual designers and backend developers to translate design mockups and technical specifications into functional web components.
- Creating and managing client libraries, templates, and policies within the AEM environment.
- Optimizing front-end code for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Conducting code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and compliance with AEM standards.
- Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AEM components, dispatcher configurations, and server logs.
- Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing to promote best practices across the development team.
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance during project execution.
