Senior Software Engineer - $165,000 + Super + Bonus - Hybrid (1 day onsite, Melbourne)

We’re working with a growing fintech scale-up building a modern payments platform. They’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who wants real influence and the opportunity to shape both product and platform as the business scales.

The role

• Design, build and scale end-to-end features across a high-availability payments platform
• Collaborate closely with product, design and leadership to influence technical and product decisions
• Take ownership of solutions from idea through to production
• Actively contribute ideas, challenge assumptions and help shape engineering best practice
• Leverage modern AI tools and emerging strategies to improve development, testing and delivery workflows

Tech

• Frontend: React, TypeScript
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript
• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS
• Architecture: Scalable, cloud-native services (payments experience a plus, not essential)
