Junior Java Developer

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Contribute to the development of microservices-based architectures
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders in a banking domain project
• Participate in analysis, development, testing, and delivery of new features
• Apply clean code principles and best development practices
• Actively contribute to team discussions and Agile ceremonies

Required Qualifications:

• Around 1 year of professional experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
• Solid understanding of backend development fundamentals
• Strong soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and adaptability
• Ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders (profiles should not be overly “geek-oriented”)
• Fluency in English (B2 level)
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon or Porto (2 days per week on-site)
