About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a confirmed Full-Stack Developer (React JS) for a high-impact freelance mission with our client in Brussels. This is a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of critical business applications, directly shaping the digital backbone of a major organization. You’ll be at the forefront of rewriting and modernizing legacy systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end rewrite of existing applications from SharePoint and Power Automate/PowerApps to a modern full-stack architecture
• Design, develop, and implement robust front-end solutions using React JS and JavaScript
• Contribute to back-end development with Node.js and database integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical analyses
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability throughout the project lifecycle
• Leverage your experience to propose and implement best practices in software engineering
• Participate in hybrid work arrangements, balancing on-site collaboration with remote productivity

Technical Skills

• Confirmed expertise in JavaScript
• Confirmed expertise in React JS
• Junior-level experience with Node.js
• Junior-level experience with databases
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps) is a plus

Language Proficiency

• Active knowledge of Dutch or French (required)
• English (nice to have)

Other Requirements

• Proven ability to write clear and actionable functional analyses
• Proven ability to write detailed technical analyses
• Experience working in hybrid teams and adapting to dynamic project needs
