Scrum Master (Remote – India)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Scrum Master to support and guide agile teams in delivering high-quality products. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and promote agile best practices. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement while working remotely within India.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach teams on Scrum principles, agile values, and best practices
- Remove obstacles and impediments that impact team productivity
- Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritization
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Track and report team progress using agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts)
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
- Promote continuous delivery and improvement of team performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, and Lean methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional development teams
- Proficiency with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master)
- Experience in remote or distributed agile teams
- Background in software development, QA, or project management
- Experience scaling agile practices across multiple teams
