We are seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Customer Experience Designer to join a complex, enterprise environment on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This role sits within a mature customer experience function and is focused on practical improvements that enhance both internal and external experiences.



This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured organisations and enjoys shaping real-world customer experiences. You will work within a cross-functional design ecosystem that includes UX, UI, CX, and Service Design teams, helping to bring enterprise blueprints to life through journey mapping, customer experience refinement, and practical implementation. This is a tactical role and requires confidence, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to independently manage priorities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and designers to understand and improve customer experience.
  • Contribute to detailed customer journey mapping and experience design across multiple channels.
  • Translate customer insights into practical solutions, prototypes, and tactical improvements.
  • Support micro and small-scale initiatives, including frontline interactions, scripts, and touchpoints.
  • Work in structured sprint cycles, contributing to planning, governance, and delivery activities.
  • Assist with process mapping, identifying efficiencies, and implementing minor improvements that align with organisational goals.



What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer experience design, journey mapping, or service design roles.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Practical, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience contributing to governance, planning, and operational documentation within complex enterprise environments.
  • Confidence working in structured, regulated organisations while balancing customer priorities with organisational realities.
