Role Overview:

Informatech is supporting a large federal government agency to deliver critical ICT uplift initiatives as part of a major transformation program modernising core business systems and capabilities.

We are seeking experienced .NET Developers to work within agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams to uplift existing codebases and deliver enhancements and improvements across complex, enterprise-grade systems. This role supports a large-scale program focused on business process re-engineering, data management, legislative compliance, and the replacement of ageing systems.

You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to design, build, and support secure, scalable solutions that underpin mission-critical national systems.

We are ideally seeking a permanent engagement, with a competitive salary on offer for the right candidate. However, candidates seeking a contracting engagement will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and enhance C#-based, n-tier enterprise applications in accordance with government standards.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, well-documented, and secure .NET solutions.
• Develop automated application build and deployment scripts using .NET Core and the Microsoft technology stack.
• Deliver solutions using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Liaise with technical and business stakeholders to support feature delivery, defect resolution, and incident management.
• Provide analysis and input into complex technical design concepts across multiple systems and solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing code and learnings with the Developer Community of Practice.
• Support operational readiness activities aligned to program delivery requirements.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Director, Team Leader, or delegate.

To Be Successful, You Will Have Extensive Experience In:

• Agile SDLC delivery and producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Full-stack development using C# / .NET Core.
• Developing automated build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and the Microsoft technology stack.
• Cloud-based application development within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Producing well-designed, testable, and maintainable code, including peer reviews.
• Setting priorities and delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget.
• Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute to business improvement strategies.
• Working with tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools such as Miro (or similar).
