About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff iOS Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of innovative iOS applications that enhance our customer experience. You will motivate and manage a team of talented engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence. Your hands-on development expertise will be instrumental in building new features and improving existing products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects such as Credit Keeper, which allows customers to monitor their credit scores, and Quick Check, providing pre-approval insights for credit cards. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive experience in iOS development. A Bachelor's Degree in any field is required. You should have at least 6 years of hands-on experience developing native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, with a solid understanding of application design, technical architecture, and development processes. Experience leading teams and mentoring junior developers is essential, as you will be guiding less experienced engineers and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Additionally, you should have a comprehensive understanding of software engineering best practices, agile methodologies, and full software development lifecycle management. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and experience working with open source frameworks will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in collaboration with senior engineers and architects to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Actively participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Drive improvements in software engineering practices by working within agile teams to develop high-quality technical solutions across various tools and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior, intermediate, and senior mobile engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Contribute expertise on how emerging technologies impact our domain and recommend best practices for adoption and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
