Network Engineer – Firewalls & Cloud Technologies (Strasbourg)

Location: Strasbourg (minimum 60% on-site)

Contract Type: Consultant / Contractor

Rates:

• On-site: €500/day
• Remote: €290/day

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Consultant to support a complex enterprise environment. The role involves working with advanced firewall technologies, network cloud solutions, and large-scale infrastructures within highly regulated organizations.

Key Skills & Experience

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP subnetting, VLANs)
• Experience working in large organizations (e.g. banking sector, military, service providers)
• Strong change management experience
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow
• Firewall rules lifecycle management
• Firewall expertise:
• FortiGate
• Check Point
• Security GIS skills
• Experience with Cisco ACI (hands-on or strong foundational knowledge)

Key Responsibilities

• Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of FortiGate Firewalls
• Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Check Point Firewalls
• Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco ACI
• Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of F5 Load Balancers
• Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Certes Technologies
• Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of network cloud technologies
