Job Location – Sydney

What role you will play in Team:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices and event-driven systems
• Solve complex technical problems from design to production
• Address technical debt with a pragmatic, business-focused approach
• Deliver reusable solutions used across teams and products
• Align technical decisions with business goals through cross-team collaboration
• Implement observability, reliability, and security best practices
• Advocate automated testing, CI/CD, and quality-driven delivery
• Contribute to SRE principles and modern deployment strategies
• Explore AI/ML and emerging technologies where valuable

Skills & Experience

• Java, TypeScript, JavaScript (Node.js), Spring Boot
• React (TypeScript), Next.js (full-stack exposure preferred)
• Microservices, DDD, event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB
• AWS: EC2, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch
• Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
• Security: Vault, AWS Secrets Manager
• Observability: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana
• Exposure to AI/LLM or ChatGPT integrations is a plus
