About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Developer Experience and Product Platform (DEeP) organization at Stripe. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing software services and platforms that serve thousands of Stripe employees and millions of users worldwide. You will work on developing reliable, scalable, and secure systems, shaping intuitive user interfaces, and making strategic technical decisions that balance business needs with user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of Stripe’s developer platform, collaborate across teams, and contribute to products that facilitate seamless payment processing and financial operations on a global scale. Qualifications

• 2-12+ years of industry software engineering experience (excluding internships and co-ops)
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages; language agnostic approach preferred
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and contribute to collective success
• Ability to operate with high autonomy, demonstrating entrepreneurial mindset and responsibility
• Interest in working as a generalist across various technologies and stacks to solve complex problems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building impactful software solutions
• Experience with scalable, reliable, and secure platform development is a plus
• Prior experience in developing user interfaces and API surfaces is desirable
  
  

Responsibilities

• Ensure our platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, and extensible to meet evolving business needs
• Design and shape future-proof interfaces that are easy to build upon and maintain
• Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability
• Lead technical discussions and drive sound decision-making across multiple teams
• Debug and resolve production issues across various services and levels of the technology stack
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and platform capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, impactful features
