About the Company

We are supporting a leading global consultancy delivering some of the most complex and high-profile hyperscale data centre programmes across Europe. Known for operating at the sharp end of mission-critical delivery, the business partners closely with major global technology operators on large, multi-phase campus developments. The consultancy is deeply embedded in client programmes, offering end-to-end project leadership across design, construction, commissioning, and handover - with a strong emphasis on technical excellence, collaboration, and programme certainty.

Their work spans multi-building campus developments, advanced MEP systems, and demanding delivery schedules - operating at the intersection of design, construction, commissioning, and client governance.

The Project

This role is a project-lead position on one of the largest hyperscale data centre developments currently under construction in Europe, based in Dublin. The programme involves multiple buildings, phased delivery, and highly complex M&E-led infrastructure, delivered to hyperscale standards.

The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in driving delivery certainty, technical coordination, and stakeholder alignment across this flagship campus.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong M&E / building services background, ideally from a consultancy-led environment, to lead delivery on a large hyperscale data centre project.

This role is not civils-led. While understanding of CSA interfaces is important, the emphasis is on managing mechanical, electrical, and mission-critical systems, commissioning readiness, and integration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the visible project leader on site, overseeing progress and ensuring safe working practices
  • Lead and coordinate client teams, consultants, and contractors across all phases of delivery
  • Manage and close out snagging activities, commissioning readiness, and handover processes
  • Identify risks and issues early, driving proactive resolution and programme recovery where required
  • Chair and lead key project meetings, reporting progress, risks, and impacts clearly to stakeholders
  • Implement and monitor project controls, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Drive collaboration across disciplines to ensure alignment on programme, quality, and client outcomes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on data centre projects
  • Background in a consultancy or client-side project management environment
  • Strong M&E / building services expertise (mechanical, electrical, mission-critical systems)
  • Experience delivering large, high-value, technically complex data centre projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Professional PM accreditation (or working towards) is desirable
  • Prior experience on hyperscale data centre programmes is highly advantageous

Required Skills

  • Lead a large hyperscale data centre project in Europe
  • High-impact role with genuine autonomy and client exposure
  • Long-term programme pipeline and career progression
  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of mission-critical infrastructure delivery

Pay range and compensation package

If you’re a senior data centre project leader looking to take ownership of a flagship hyperscale programme in Dublin, we’d like to hear from you.
