Network Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Network Analyst to support the monitoring, analysis, and maintenance of network systems. This role is ideal for individuals starting their networking career who want hands-on exposure to enterprise network environments while working under the guidance of experienced network engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability, and alerts
• Assist in troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues
• Support analysis of network incidents and service disruptions
• Help maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventories
• Assist with configuration and maintenance of network devices under supervision
• Support network security and compliance tasks
• Log and track incidents using ticketing systems
• Escalate complex network issues to senior engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Familiarity with the OSI and TCP/IP models
• Basic knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Understanding of Windows and/or Linux fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and develop networking skills

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Degree, diploma, or training in IT, Networking, or a related field
• Entry-level networking certification (CCNA, Network+, or equivalent – completed or in progress)
• Internship, lab, or academic project experience in networking
• Familiarity with network monitoring or ticketing tools
