About the Role

We are seeking an Entry Level Junior Network Engineer who is interested in starting a career in networking and infrastructure support. In this role, you will assist with maintaining network systems, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and supporting the daily operation of network infrastructure.

You will work closely with experienced network engineers to gain hands-on experience with real-world networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure
• Support the configuration of routers, switches, and network devices
• Help troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues
• Assist with network documentation and system updates
• Monitor network performance and report issues when identified
• Support routine maintenance and network upgrades
• Escalate complex issues to senior network engineers when required

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi networks
• Basic knowledge of routers, switches, and network devices
• Basic understanding of Windows or Linux operating systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop networking skills

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Cisco networking equipment
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools
• Coursework or lab experience related to networking

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, or individuals with networking training are encouraged to apply
