User Interface Designer

We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer with strong experience designing React Native mobile applications to join client established and collaborative multinational design team. In this role, you will support a key US healthcare client in enhancing the mobile experience of a large, complex platform.

You will work closely with researchers, content designers, a design system specialist, and multiple engineering squads to create clear, intuitive, and reliable mobile experiences. This role is an excellent fit for a designer with strong end-to-end UX and UI skills, confidence in mobile best practices, and the ability to navigate evolving requirements.

Although you will initially focus on a specific product area, our business model ensures you will also collaborate across multiple clients and domains over time. Versatility and mature design judgment are therefore essential.

This position also offers optional People Lead responsibilities, supporting a team of 5–8 designers. These responsibilities are separate from individual contributor tasks and include additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user-centered React Native mobile experiences across critical user journeys.
• Translate complex healthcare information into clear, intuitive mobile flows.
• Apply platform-appropriate iOS and Android patterns within a cross-platform environment.
• Contribute to and evolve mobile patterns within a broader design system.
• Collaborate with user researchers to plan, execute, and iterate on testing cycles.
• Produce high-quality UI with strong hierarchy, structure, and usability.
• Work effectively across multiple engineering squads and product workstreams.
• Communicate design decisions clearly, professionally, and with strong rationale.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing mobile applications using React Native or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android behaviors, conventions, and UI patterns.
• A portfolio showcasing confident UI craft and strong UX thinking.
• Experience applying research insights and iterating based on evidence.
• Comfort working within parallel, multi-team delivery environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, organized approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new product domains when required.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI-assisted design workflows and interest in applying them responsibly in real-world delivery environments.
• Experience designing for healthcare, insurance, or other complex data-driven domains.
• Familiarity with accessibility principles (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices.
