About you

You are/have been a contributor within a cross-functional product engineering team, responsible for implementing and maintaining user-facing application features. You focus on building responsive, accessible, and maintainable frontend experiences aligned with product and design requirements. You collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features while developing their technical skills and contributing to team delivery outcomes.


About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineers (Frontend) to join our product engineering team and help us build intuitive, reliable, and well-crafted user experiences. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with modern frontend technologies, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver features that provide real value to customers.This role suits an engineer who is developing strong technical capability and enjoys translating product and design requirements into high-quality, maintainable frontend code. You’ll contribute to feature delivery, improve user experience quality, and continue building your technical and professional capability within a supportive team environment.


What you'll do:

  • Frontend Development: Build and maintain user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks and technologies. Translate product and design specifications into functional, high-quality interfaces.
  • Component Implementation & UI Quality: Develop reusable components and contribute to consistent design system implementation. Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, and performant across supported devices and browsers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to clarify requirements, refine solutions, and deliver features aligned with customer and business needs.
  • Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Contribute to automated testing and quality practices to maintain reliability and confidence in releases.
  • Learning & Continuous Improvement: Actively develop technical capability and product understanding. Contribute to improving team workflows, frontend standards, and development practices.
  • Team Contribution: Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint ceremonies, and collaborative problem-solving within the engineering team.


What you'll bring:

  • Works effectively within a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Works constructively to engage constructively in feedback, code reviews, and team discussions.
  • Demonstrates accountability for assigned work and delivery commitments.
  • Professional experience building and maintaining web SaaS applications in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready frontend features.
  • Experience working with designers or design artefacts (e.g. Figma or similar tools).
  • Proficiency in modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services.
  • Understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI patterns.
  • Familiarity with automated testing approaches for frontend applications.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).


Nice to have's:

  • Experience working with TypeScript and React component libraries or design systems.
  • Familiarity with frontend performance optimisation and accessibility standards.
  • Exposure to modern build tools, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of backend systems, APIs, and data modelling concepts.
  • Exposure to cloud-hosted web applications and deployment workflows.
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working on SaaS platforms or customer-facing web applications.
  • Exposure to working within agile or iterative product development environments.
