Backend Developer (NestJS)

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in NestJS to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, familiarity with frontend technologies (React.js, Next.js), and proficiency in leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate productivity and code quality. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using NestJS
• Design and implement RESTful APIs endpoints
• Utilize AI development tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate development and problem-solving
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with React.js/Next.js applications
• Implement and maintain Elasticsearch for search functionality and data indexing
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Debug, optimize, and maintain application performance
• Stay current with NestJS updates, backend technologies, and AI development tools

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years of backend development experience with NestJS/Node.js
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals
• Mandatory: Fluency in Arabic (speaking, reading, writing)
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude)
• Experience using AI tools for code generation, debugging, and refactoring
• RESTful API design and development
• Database experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• ORM/ODM tools (Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma, Mongoose)
• Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics
• Git, Azure DevOps version control
• Frontend experience with React.js and Next.js
• Understanding of microservices architecture

Preferred Skills:

• Redis, message queues (Azure Service Bus)
• Docker and containerization
• Azure, CI/CD pipelines
• Testing frameworks (Jest, Supertest)
• WebSockets and real-time communication
