The Project

A major urban development project comprising of new homes, commercial properties, public spaces and smart urban mobility. Mace have the opportunity to develop and lead and implement the PMO structure to deliver this city development.

Potentially managing other category leads.

Engages with executive and client level stakeholders.

Develops own and team strategies, implementing, managing and monitoring them end to end deliver goals.

Leads the team on certain workstreams and initiatives delivering on time and to expectations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Category management and leadership.
  • Development and maintains relationship management expert.
  • Manages and provides leadership to team/s, ensuring the principals, structures, tools/capabilities and responsibilities are in place to diver plans and deliver excellence.
  • Due diligence and company / market understanding.
  • Value creating re process, performance and commercial activity.
  • Plan development and implementation including embedding, monitoring, delivering via others.
  • Delivers on objectives in challenging situations on time.
  • Provides performance management, talent development and coaching.
  • Develops and maintains a series of both internal and external relationships.
  • Manages and influences key/senior stakeholders.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Relevant degree qualification. CIPS qualification. Professional membership or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Proven experience working on city development, programme, projects.
  • Knowledge transfer and mentoring experience.

You’ll Also Have

  • Experience in the successful delivery phase of relevant projects and programmes.
  • Programme management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
