Backend Developer

Apilex is an AI-powered legaltech platform. We help lawyers and legal teams conduct case law research, generate legal documents, and manage their workflows with artificial intelligence.

As we continue to scale rapidly, we are expanding our backend team to make our systems more scalable, stable, and high-performing.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture
• Experience with SQL and preferably NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
• Strong knowledge of performance, scalability, and security best practices
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Analytical thinking and strong ownership mindset
  

• Develop and improve existing backend services
• Design and implement backend architecture for new features
• Optimize high-traffic, data-intensive systems
• Build integrations with AI services and search infrastructures
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features
