About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on networking experience to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across our London operations. The role focuses on ensuring network performance, security, and availability while contributing to infrastructure improvements and upgrades.
This position is ideal for professionals who are confident troubleshooting complex network issues and supporting business-critical connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Implement network security controls and best practices
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects
- Troubleshoot routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams
- Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or network support roles
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar)
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security configurations
- Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Exposure to SD-WAN or software-defined networking
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge
