The project:

Our client in the banking sector is looking for a Functional/Business Analyst - Fraud to join their team.

Function description:

• Defines and analyzes the business model using modelling techniques and methods (visio, UML diagrams...). Understands the E2E process and data flow, analyses and document the new process and data model,
• Understand E2E data and process flow, build process flows (UML, Visio…) and creates data models
• Challenges business requirements towards technical feasibility, risks and limitations, proposes alternatives and improvements and get validation in the target solutionAlign with architects on technical solutions (and API)
• Can read existing code (Visual Basic, Phyton …)
• Build process flow with UML diagrams, Visio…
• Analyses and translates the business/client needs in requirements towards the building of target solution(s) in Fraud. Formalizes and documents the requirements and functional analysis in the standards used by the tribe / squad so the developers can progress autonomously. Liaises with other contributors when required.
• Prepares and participates to the functional and end-to-end testing of new functionalities to deliver maximal quality, reports on progress, defects, risks.
• Together with the BA, help on adoption and change management
• Acts as interface between the stakeholders, communicates fluently (oral and written)
• Identifies, communicates and manages the constraints, impediments, risk(s) and issues to keep qualitative delivery on-track.
• works autonomously while being a strong team player

Is this you?

• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Dutch, French and English
• Master of equivalent by experience
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a Functional/Business Analyst role, knowledge of Fraud is preferable
• Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods (UML, visio, mock-ups..)
• Good expertise in MS Office
• Good understanding of IS and testing
• Functional analysis and understanding of technical functionalities
• Understand code (Visual Basic, Python, SQL..)
• Technical knowledge (strongly recommended)
• Good understanding of workflow processes
• Excellent analytic skills
• Customer centricity and empathy
• Great stakeholder management
• Great communicative skills
• Knowledge of the Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Fraud
