We are seeking an experienced Data Project/Program Manager with a strong technical foundation in modern data platforms and proven success delivering complex, end-to-end data initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, program leadership, and the ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate has built data products from the ground up, implemented data warehouses and lakehouses, and managed cross-functional programs in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, Databricks)
The project aims to implement one common data model consisting of harmonized data, clear organizational structures, well defined KPIs, and aligned dashboards, with automated and close to real-time data feeds. We will use this data model to deliver Persona-based and Functional dashboards which will enable drill-down from SLT level data to Operational Level data. This will eliminate the need for multiple tools and dashboards and deliver, automatically, all data needed by Abbott EPD in the APAC region.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full lifecycle delivery of data programs and projects, from concept through implementation and adoption.
- Partner with business and technical teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and data solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships, including evaluation, pre-sales discussions, and ongoing vendor support.
- Create and maintain program roadmaps, delivery plans, and resource allocations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for executives and stakeholders, reporting on progress, risks, and mitigations.
- Proven experience in building and delivering data products from scratch.
- Experience with end-to-end data lineage, governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a translator between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Track record of delivering complex data projects/programs with clear business impact.
- Excellent soft skills: responsibility, curiosity, ownership mindset, and communication.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector and its specific data challenges.
- Prior experience managing vendor support and vendor pre-sales communications.
- Solid expertise in implementing classical data warehouses and modern lakehouse architectures.
- Strong knowledge of modern data patterns and platforms, with hands-on focus on AWS, Azure, and Databricks.
- Proficiency in at least one strong coding language: SQL or Python. Experience
- 7–10 years of professional experience in data management, program/project leadership, or related fields.
- Multiple examples of successfully delivered enterprise-level data programs.
