As an Agile Release Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of cross-functional Agile teams by fostering collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities include:
Agile Leadership and Facilitation
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple teams across various product areas and introduce and encourage Lean/Agile practices, focusing on quality, technical excellence, predictable delivery, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Guide teams through Agile ceremonies, fostering collaboration, communication and conflict management.
- Support Product Managers and Owners in backlog management and prioritization practices and educate leaders and team members on Lean/Agile mindsets, frameworks, practices, and processes.
- Develop and manage project plans, including personnel and fiscal requirements, to achieve defined objectives.
- Provide leadership to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, including resource estimation, milestone identification, change management, and reporting.
- Prepare, facilitate and deliver all activities related to cross-team delivery planning for multiple product lines.
- Recommend and implement process changes and system solutions to meet both tactical and strategic needs.
- Analyze and improve business processes from multiple perspectives, including inputs, outputs, and user/client experience.
- Identify and address organizational impediments, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead efforts to collect and report Scrum Master metrics, driving continuous improvement across programs.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years in business operations, Scrum Master/Agile Coach or program management roles.
- At least 5 years in Agile development, including 2-3 years working with the Azure DevOps toolset.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master for large, complex projects with the ability to adapt Agile processes to the needs of the business
- Proactive, communicative and collaborative personality
- Exceptional ability to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
- Proficiency in identifying and delivering business process improvements that add significant value.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly at all organizational levels.
- Strong collaboration skills, including consensus-building and stakeholder management.
