I’m looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our 24/7 SOC team delivering managed detection and response services to clients throughout New Jersey & New York. In this role, you will perform advanced threat detection, incident investigation, and response activities while serving as a key escalation point within our MSSP environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in security operations and is comfortable independently investigating alerts, identifying root cause, and guiding remediation efforts. This role requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to operate effectively in a high-tempo environment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Conduct advanced analysis of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and cloud security alerts
• Lead incident investigations, containment, and remediation recommendations
• Perform threat hunting and proactive security monitoring
• Develop and improve SOC playbooks and response procedures
• Mentor junior analysts and support shift leadership as needed
• 2–5+ years of experience in a SOC or security operations role
• Strong understanding of networking, log analysis, and attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
• Experience with enterprise security platforms and ticketing systems
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, or similar) preferred
• Availability for 24/7 rotational shifts
