Software Engineer

IT Search has partnered with a global insurance organisation to appoint a Full Stack Software Engineer to their Dublin based technology team.

This role sits within a collaborative engineering group responsible for delivering and evolving modern internal platforms used across a large international business. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of scalable web applications and services, working closely with engineers, architects and product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and modern .NET technologies
• Build and enhance web based user interfaces using frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, React or similar
• Design and implement REST based integrations and APIs
• Work with relational databases to support application data requirements
• Contribute to code quality initiatives, including reviews, testing and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross functional teams within an Agile development environment

Experience Required

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong understanding of object oriented programming and software design principles
• Commercial experience developing applications within the .NET ecosystem
• Experience building modern web applications, including frontend technologies such as Blazor or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with REST APIs, relational databases and Git based development workflows
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or modern development practices
