Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights that support business decisions and strategic planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, build reports, and provide actionable recommendations. This is a remote position open to candidates based in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across different systems.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers and other teams to improve data processes and accessibility.
• Document methodologies, reports, and analytical processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
