Senior Project Manager – Migration / Transformation Programme (Freelance Contract)

• Duration: 12 months + extensions (long-term programme)
• Location: Brussels – Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
• Language: English, French, and Dutch (MUST be Fluent in all 3 languages)
• Rate: €575-600 a day

Montash is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale migration and transition programme within a complex enterprise environment. This will be on behalf of a consultancy client, acting as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of a critical transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of migration and transition activities within a major transformation programme
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across business and technical functions
• Define acceptance criteria and readiness measures for solution delivery
• Manage data migration strategy, mapping, and cutover planning
• Oversee testing strategy, including preparation, execution, and validation
• Ensure stakeholder alignment and facilitate decision-making across teams
• Track programme KPIs, risks, and mitigation actions
• Support change management, training, and transition to service operations

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Senior Project Manager in complex IT or transformation programmes
• Proven background managing data migration, system transition, or platform implementation projects
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
• Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams
• Experience in utilities, energy, or regulated enterprise environments is highly valuable
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
