Role Summary

The role focuses on leading and delivering large‑scale, end‑to‑end technology transformation programmes within banking, with a strong emphasis on Temenos Payment Hub (TPH). The consultant will guide architecture, integration, migration, and operational readiness for enterprise payment platforms, ensuring compliance, resilience, and high‑volume performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise payment transformation programmes using Temenos Payment Hub (TPH).
• Design and implement payment flows across SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, ACH, instant payments, and ISO 20022.
• Oversee end‑to‑end integration between TPH, Temenos Transact (T24), digital channels, AML, fraud, FX, and clearing systems.
• Define payment orchestration rules, routing logic, enrichment, validation, and exception handling.
• Manage requirements, solution design, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, scheme mandates, and operational risk controls.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across business, technology, vendors, and offshore delivery.
• Provide advisory support on payment modernization, platform strategy, and operating model transformation.
• Drive governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication at programme and executive levels.
• Support RFPs, proposals, and pre‑sales for Temenos‑based payment transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of experience delivering large‑scale transformation programmes in banking.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) architecture, configuration, and integration.
• Deep understanding of payment schemes (SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, ACH, instant payments).
• Experience with ISO 20022, payment routing, enrichment, and compliance workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Temenos Transact (T24), TAFJ, and TPA integration patterns.
• Proven leadership in multi‑vendor, multi‑country delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration (APIs, ESB, MQ, OFS, REST).
• Experience with regulatory, compliance, and risk‑driven change initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud‑based Temenos deployments (Azure, AWS).
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing for Temenos platforms.
• Knowledge of data migration, reporting, and analytics in payment ecosystems.
• Experience with high‑volume, real‑time payment processing environments.
