Who We Are Supporting
The NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
The NCIA provides a wide range of services, including:
- Cyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats.
- Command and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations.
- Satellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces.
- Electronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks.
- Information Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers.
The program
Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS)
The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.
To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.

Role Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead a number of ongoing Wellbeing and Inclusion projects, such as the Wellbeing Fairs 2026 and the development and rollout of an Agency Psychological Safety approach;
- Manage all Wellbeing and Inclusion Communities and oversee all their activities/communications, ensuring coherency with our strategy and consistency across all communities, and identifying opportunities for collaboration;
- Support in the development of the 2025 Annual Wellbeing and Inclusion Report, including the collection and analysis of relevant data, and upskilling of relevant stakeholders;
- Develop and deliver Wellbeing and Inclusion briefings/awareness sessions and support with the overall learning approach, including development of learning materials and collaboration with Corporate Academy;
- Coordinate the creation of internal and external communications materials such as brand identity packs for Staff Resource Groups, How2Guides, checklists, brochures, toolkits etc.;
- Lead and support in other OD&C activities and projects as necessary for the delivery of our CPO Operational Plan commitments.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in both the wellbeing and inclusion areas
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing and empowering Staff Resource Groups (volunteer affinity groups)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in coordinating, delivering and supporting wellbeing and inclusion projects, predominantly in delivering wellbeing and inclusion interventions and initiatives
- Experience engaging with stakeholders of all levels, including leadership, on wellbeing and inclusion topics
- Excellent level of verbal and written English
- A fast learner and able to pick up new wellbeing and inclusion strategies and concepts with ease
- Organised, able to be proactive and take ownership
- Self-motivated with a positive growth mind-set
- Experience managing and delivering change projects in the area of wellbeing and inclusion
- Experience organising, managing and delivering team effectiveness interventions, especially in the area of wellbeing and inclusion
- A broad knowledge of Human Resources or even better, broad experience of the different themes
- Previous experience using SharePoint.
