About the role


We are looking for an HR Specialist in France to support the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, and employment administration. In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers and the HR Team Lead to ensure smooth, compliant, and people-focused HR operations in line with French labour law and company standards. This role is operational and hands-on, with real ownership of day-to-day HR processes.


Responsibilities


Employee Lifecycle Management

Prepare and manage employment-related documentation throughout the employee lifecycle (amendments, role changes, promotions).

Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.

Ensure compliance with legal and internal HR requirements.


Onboarding & Employment Administration

Coordinate onboarding plans with hiring managers and define actions and timelines.

Ensure clear and timely communication with new hires throughout the onboarding process.

Conduct onboarding sessions (on-site and online).

Register employees for benefits and manage occupational health checks in line with local requirements.


Offboarding

Guide employees through offboarding procedures and explain next steps.

Prepare termination-related documentation and agreements.

Deactivate employee benefits and required registrations.

Employer Branding & Employee Experience

Support employer branding and external HR initiatives in line with company guidelines.

Contribute to a positive, consistent, and professional employee experience across the full HR lifecycle.


Recruitment & Hiring

Conduct HR interviews and ensure fair and objective candidate evaluation in line with company standards and French labour law.

Prepare, issue, and track job offers, ensuring accuracy of employment terms, compensation, and benefits.

Communicate job offer details to candidates and document final agreements.

Collect required personal data and employment documentation from new hires.

Prepare employment agreements and other employment-related documents.


Requirements


  • 2–3 years of proven experience in an HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of French labour law.
  • Experience working with HR systems and digital tools.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Fluency in French and English.
