Project Manager – Global Leadership Events (Event Technology)
We are seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of a global leadership event series. This role sits within the Meetings & Events Technology Services team, a global group responsible for technical event delivery including AV, networking, hybrid and virtual meeting technology.
The role combines project coordination, operational execution, and forward planning to ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-visibility events across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning activities including team meetings, agendas, action tracking, and cross-team communications.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and follow-ups to ensure project deliverables stay on track.
- Support preparation of project updates, leadership briefings, and reporting materials.
- Maintain playbooks, documentation, and best practices while capturing lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Track project budgets, assumptions, and risks in collaboration with finance and project stakeholders.
- Support risk management by identifying cross-project risks and coordinating mitigation actions.
- Assist with early-stage planning for future event locations, including gathering technical requirements and assessing feasibility.
- Explore and apply AI-powered tools to improve workflows and increase operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in project management, event operations, program coordination, or IT/technical delivery.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines in a fast-paced global environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with technical vendors, AV/IT environments, or event technology is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience with budget tracking, vendor coordination, or procurement processes is a plus.
