The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of complex IT network infrastructures. The role includes ensuring network performance, security and availability, supporting project initiatives, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the definition of technical standards.
Operational & Technical Duties
- Participate in the daily administration, monitoring and continuous improvement of network infrastructures.
- Manage, secure and evolve the firewall environment.
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrade or migration projects under the guidance of the internal IT team.
- Provide Level‑3 technical support and produce clear technical documentation (procedures, guidelines, knowledge transfer).
- Design network diagrams and architecture documentation.
- Deploy integration solutions across On‑Premise, Cloud or Hybrid environments.
- Review and validate the quality of project deliverables.
Technical Competencies
- Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) architecture, design, deployment and support — Advanced.
- Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.) — Expert level.
- Firewall administration (e.g., Next‑Gen Firewalls, Panorama management) — Expert level.
- DNS & DHCP — Advanced.
- Network segregation & security principles — Advanced.
- Incident management & network monitoring — Advanced.
- Technical documentation — Advanced proficiency.
Additional Competencies
- Experience with complex network infrastructures.
- Ability to validate deliverables, follow standards and ensure operational excellence.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with internal teams.

- Dutch: Full professional proficiency

- On‑site presence: 2 days per week
- Work regime: Full‑time
