Business Analyst, Payments

Location: Sydney

Duration: Fulltime/Perm role

Skills: Payment gateways, Splunk, AWS, Control-M, Linux, SWIFT components (PAG), troubleshooting.

The Business Analyst is a key role for the delivery of Issuing solutions that enable our clients (banks, payment service providers (PSPs) and corporates) to process payments on behalf of their customers.

• Working as part of the Development Team to assess solution proposals and establish which will most effectively business needs
• Aligning the needs of the business unit with the capabilities delivered by information technology (i.e., serve as the translator between those groups)
• Working collaboratively with the Product Owners to ensure that sprint goals are met.

As a Business Analyst, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry within Financial Services sector
• Proven experience in Payments projects (either Real Time or Batch), exposure to Switching, Card Management Systems highly regarded.
• Ability to support Payments systems. Understand PACS messaging data flows and experience and or skills in the following technology:
• Strong skills with MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Visio
• Competent in BPMN, UC, SQL, XML, AS2805, ISO20022, Jira & confluence
• Good business planning, analytical and conceptual skills
• Competent with Atlassian tool set
