Role: Backend Java Engineer

Location: Dublin City Centre - Onsite

12 Months PAYE contract (with chances of extension)

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 + 20 Annual Leaves

About the Role

• In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing third‑party API integrations within complex distributed architectures.
• You will play a key role in ensuring client solutions are robust, scalable, and optimised for performance.
• This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience building and integrating APIs at scale.
• Strong expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Demonstrated ability to work with high‑throughput systems and real‑time data processing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
