Job Purpose
The Senior Associate – People & Culture plays a key role in supporting the execution of HR strategies and initiatives that foster an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing work environment. This role ensures the effective delivery of HR operations, with a strong focus on employee relations, case management, and investigations. The position also contributes to enhancing HR systems, strengthening governance, and continuously improving employee experience through structured processes and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations:
Provide day-to-day support across core HR functions, including onboarding, and employee records management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Employee Relations & Case Management:
Manage and track employee relations cases through a structured case management system, ensuring timely resolution, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies. Act as a point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring consistency and fairness in outcomes.
- Investigations:
Support and conduct end-to-end employee relations investigations, including fact-finding, interviews, documentation, and reporting. Ensure investigations are handled with confidentiality, objectivity, and in compliance with internal policies and labor laws.
- ER Process Revamp & Governance:
Contribute to the review, standardization, and continuous improvement of employee relations processes, policies, and workflows. Identify gaps and recommend enhancements to strengthen governance, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Employee Engagement:
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, analyzing feedback, and supporting action planning to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate HR data and leverage dashboards to monitor trends, particularly in employee relations cases, attrition, and engagement. Generate insights and reports to support decision-making.
- Diversity & Inclusion:
Support the implementation of initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all HR and ER-related activities, including case records and investigation reports.
- Process Improvement & Systems:
Identify opportunities to enhance HR systems, including case management tools and HRIS platforms, to improve efficiency, reporting capabilities, and user experience.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support HR projects, provide insights on people-related matters, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or employee relations-focused role, preferably within multi-unit restaurant, retail, or F&B industries.
- Hands-on experience with case management systems and handling employee relations investigations is strongly preferred.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and reporting tools is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations frameworks, and employment laws.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive cases with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Experience in conducting workplace investigations and writing clear, structured reports.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and identify trends.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR systems and case management tools.
